Rule 193
Formation of Policy Making Committee
(1) There will be a Policy Making Committee at the Police Head Office to make suggestions to the Government of Nepal on policy matters that have a greater and long-term impact on the police organization, internal management of the police organization and also on the matters specified in accordance with this regulation, as per the requirements:-
(a) Inspector General of Police – Chairman
(b) All Additional Inspectors General of Police – Member
(c) Valley-based Deputy Inspector General of Police All – Members
(d) Deputy Inspector General of Police, Secretariat of Inspector General of Police – Member-Secretary
(2) The Inspector General of Police may invite other police personnel, stakeholders and experts to the meeting according to the seriousness and need of the subject to be presented in the meeting.
(3) The procedure for the meeting of the policy making committee shall be as determined by the policy making committee itself.
